For folding the web "up" or "down" in web running direction. The products can be folded in one or multiple ribbons. Models are available for two or three level folding capability for plow folding on multiple levels. Unit includes a geometrical folding system for reliable inline folding from 3’ wide to half web width. The adjustable input roller leads the web to the folding head and optimizes the folding geometry to the fold. The adjustable and pivotable twin roller preceding the folding head optimizes the folding geometry and guarantees crease-free web travel. The folding heads have horizontal and vertical adjustment and can fold the web "up' or 'down" on one side. Various folding apparatus such as roller plows or folding formers can be easily attached and interchanged for numerous product configurations.

   
   
 

 

 
  • All necessary lead‑in idler rollers.
  • Designed to accommodate a full web through all elements.
  • Adjustable web lead rollers for creating folding geometry.
  • Driven, combination draw/anvil rolls with four (4) nip trolleys and two (1) slitter per level. Both the nips and slitters are pneumatically operated.
  • Folding station is equipped with all necessary folding components for making folds in the "up" or "down" modes from a minimum of 3" up to a half web width.
  • Two Folding Fixtures with independent adjustments to set depth of folding roller and lateral position "on-the-;run". Fixtures are easily re-positioned between levels.
  • Each folding fixture includes a "simple-to-use" swivel control to facilitate quick, safe conversions from the "up" or "down" plow folding modes.
  • Roller plows are provided.
  • Required rollers for bypassing the folding stations providing a web path to the cutter.
